Why I'm on Patreon

Journal Pages Using Printables

As you may know, I launched on Patreon in October and I've been asked a few questions, which I thought might be helpful to answer in a blog post.

What is Patreon?

Patreon is a membership platform, where creators can set up a range of different monthly subscription offers. Individuals can then choose to support various creators by becoming one of their patrons.

What's in it for the Creator?

With a subscription service, it gives the creator some stability in their income, as they know they will be receiving a set amount of money each month, in return for providing any perks that they they offer at each subscription level.

I've been on Patron for just over a month now and am delighted to have over 70 people supporting me there. It's given me the confidence to spend time creating journal printables, additional videos and content, knowing that the support is already there. It's also given me the chance to get to know my supporters on a much deeper level and understand what they would most like to see from me in the future.

What's in it for the Patron/Supporter?

The chance to have a closer connection with the creator, ask for help or guidance with specific topics and hopefully really enjoy the perks that are made available in the different tiers.

What am I Offering?

I have 3 different tiers available, with the top tier getting access to a monthly set of journal printables (this month it's two!), behind-the-scenes updates and a monthly Patreon exclusive video. I also ask for video suggestions, to make sure that I can offer something more indepth than would usually be on my YouTube channel.

How long does the Subscription last?

As long as you like. You can pause, change or cancel a Patreon subscription at any time
